For this year, I have a couple goals that I must reach if I want to be successful this year. I want to get an A in the class. As well as turn in all of my homework. If I turn in all of my homework it should help translate to an A because homework bumps up your grade and helps you practice the skills necessary to ace the test. Even though the end goal is to just get an A, I still want to understand the material being taught. A lot of times I don't fully understand what I am learning I just know how to do it. My other goal is to be able to help others who struggle with math. Being able to help others understand math that they before did not understand without my help really is encouraging. My goal for chapter 5 is to complete all work that is given to me, take great notes, and of course get an A.
This year in Algebra 2 we have done a lot of projects and worksheets to help better understand the material that we are learning. One of the recent worksheets that we completed was the Cubic Polynomial functions worksheet. It helped us understand how to write cubic functions and interpret them by graphing them. We also wrote equations with given points. I at first struggled with the worksheet because I forgot how to do it because of the thanksgiving break. But after awhile I got back into the swing of things.
